My friends Nic and Mel just got engaged, which is just about the most exciting thing to happen to me in a long time. I couldn't be happier for them. As part of my wedding present, I offered to take some photos for them to mark this momentous occasion.
These are not photos of Nic and Mel. These are photos of my friends Janice and Mike, however, they are my practice couple. Also, they are very cute too.
It makes me happy when people feel comfortable showing their feelings for someone to me and my camera. It makes me even happier when I capture it so those feelings can be viewed in a photo.

Fall already

Can't believe it's halfway through september. The late start to school this year has thrown me off. I'm just now feeling settled in our little residence apartment. It is very cute and just the right size. This friday is Dan's birthday, and we're starting to wonder if our house will be big enough for all the people we've invited.
In other news, the weather is turning colder and a walk in the arbs was long over due, these are from some experiments with the tripod.
The first one is the finished Scarf I was making in the summer.

Haven't posted in almost a year, but these shots of my cuzzies made me think of this blog. A lot has happened in the last year, including a recent trip to Maine Media Workshops, which gave me the advanced knowledge of photo editing. This being my first day back with Lightroom, I had some fun with some pictures. More to come soon hopefully!
